Tim tuned his bass to B E A D for a short while and this song is very obviously played on a five string or a bass tuned like BEAD (just listen to the bridge if you don't believe me)
I did a quick search through all the bass tabs for this song and only one had it being played on a five string, but it was still retarded in everything else and epic failure was had. 

to be completely honest with you this tab is as perfect as you can get without calling tim up and getting him to do this himself
but you need a five string or you need to tune your bass way down for this. one of my basses is tuned to B E A D, but to do that I bought a low B string and moved every other string over; if you tune a regular set of strings down it will sound like shit. 
most of the tabs out there for this song that are in drop D work well enough, so don't worry too much about fucking around with your bass. 
this tab is pretty much only meant for someone that's a perfectionist or if they have a 5 string and want to play this song how it's suppose to be played.
