Ok, this is the best sounding way of playing this song. The tuning is strange, but the open strings ring just perfectly. Tune the low E down to A. the next string should be a whole octave above. The two middle strings should be the same note, and the top A and D should be an octave higher again. Here are the verse chords, with the last being played before the 1st verse and subsequent choruses.
