- in the above exercises, you can see that  each time we move up, we are adding one note. please, do not play it through just once. play it UNTIL you feel comfortable, be it for an hour. try not to get frustrated, its annoying at first. wait til you get into the descending notes.

slides
ive pretty much mastered the art of sliding. the most important thing about slides is that you slide from one note and whack the next note dead on. it takes time, practice and effort. this is a simple exercise I used when learning slides, i will go into more practices with slides in the next lesson. the more you practice slides, the stronger your finger tips will be, and they will become rough, therefore eliminating the need for a glass slide.
