Take a Little Time
Harvey Andrews

Written and recorded by Harvey Andrews 1989.
From the album '25 Years on the Road' (Hypertension Records)

This song has a number of (optional) passing tones which give it colour if played
in fingerstyle. They are shown in brackets to represent the actual note to be played as follows:
(B) = 4th string 2nd fret
(F#) = 6th string 2nd fret
(G) = 6th string 3rd fret

'walkup up' at the end of two of the verses means play the notes g a and b (on the
6th and 5th strings) before playing the C chord on the next part.

The song is in the key of G as originally recorded but if this is too high to sing
along with it will transpose quite nicely into C although you will have to play
around with the passing tones.

Time 4/4
Capo: None
Singing start note: G

And a part of me

   G D C (B)
So take a little time each day to remember when
    Am D Dsus4 D
You didn't have a song to sing or a friend, but then
    G (F#) Em
One thing led to another
      Am (G) (F#)D
And a dream became a lover
G Am D G Em
Take a little time each day to remember when
    C D G Em
You didn't have a song to sing or a friend, but then
    Am (G)(F#) D
One thing led to another
   G (G)(F#)Em
A dream became a lover
C Am D G Em
Take a little time each day to remember when
C D G
Take a little time each day to remember when.
