Request: "If the band "hoover" really exists and is not an unsigned band, please provide
us with a link to the official website of this band in your tab below and click on
Submit Your Tab button again."

My Response: Hoover are a post-hardcore band from Washington DC. They do not have an
official website per se because they split up in 1994. They were signed to Dischord
Records. As they do not have an official website here is as much details as i can provide:

http://www.dischord.com/band/hoover - this is probably their "official" link to Dischord Records.

I will presume you remove all this above if the tab is submitted into the archive.

Thanks,

Alowishus :)

Notes: This song is in standard tuning. If you want to replicate the bass pretty well on
the song use some distortion or fuzz. This song is in 9/8.

The song revolves around one main riff but there are changes throughout the song. You
really need to listen to the song to hear the timing and length of each note. I've tried
to leave spaces between the notes to indicate the length of the notes.

Intro: 0:00-1:12 - there is a rest after the D (5th fret).
G|---------------------------------|
D|---------2---2--2----------------|
A|------------------3--3--5--------|
E|-0--0-0--------------------------|

At 1:12 the guitar comes in and the riff above repeats until 1:57.

1:57 - a part of the rest is filled with G and Gb on E (3-2).
G|---------------------------------|
D|---------2---2--2----------------|
A|------------------3--3--5--------|
E|-0--0-0--------------------3-2---|

At 2:10 it then plays:
G|---------------------------------|
D|---------2---2--2----------------|
A|------------------3--3--5--------|
E|-0--0-0--------------------3-2-0-|

2:14-2:48 - E is played - let it ring (count 1-9-| then repeat). Vocals also come in here.
G|-----------------------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------------------|
E|-0---------------------------------------------|

2:48-3:16 - Return to the main riff. There is a bit of vibrato on the high E. Also
the E in brackets is sometimes played.
G|------------------------------------|
D|---------2v---2--2------------------|
A|-------------------3--3--5----------|
E|-0--0-0---------------------3-2-(0)-|

3:16-3:52 - sliding starts to 15th fret.
G|-----------------------------------|
D|---------2v---2--2-----------------|
A|-------------------3--3--5---------|
E|-0--0-0---------------------3-2/15-|

3:52-4:22
G|------------------------------------|
D|---------2v---2--2------------------|
A|-------------------3--3--5----------|
E|-0--0-0---------------------3-3-2-2-|

4:22-4:53 - riff changes here into a chorded one. Sometimes there is a slide from
C5 to B5. Watch for the timing here.
G|-------------------------------------|
D|---------5--5--5--4--4--4--4---------|
A|---------3--3--3--2--2--2--2---------|
E|-0--0-0----------------------3-3-2-2-|

4:53-6:09 - back to one of the previous riffs, high E is bent.
G|-----------------------------------|
D|---------2b---2--2-----------------|
A|-------------------3--3--5---------|
E|-0--0-0---------------------3-2----|

6:09-7:20------------------------------ - then this riff is played - the slide
G|----------------------------------------| from Gb is sometimes added - noted in brackets.
D|-----------2b---2--2--------------------|
A|---------------------3--3--5------------|
E|-0--3p2p0---------------------3-2(/15)--|

That's the whole song. If you have any questions about it, timing etc. ask me on
my profile. Enjoy! :)
