This song is played with a 5 string bass but every where he plays a low D I just went up an octave higher on the fifth fret of the A string and it sounds fine. I tuned my bass down half a step to get the E flat but I guess you can tune down a whole step If you want to get the low D. This song is a bit tricky at first and the tabs might sound wrong at first. But if you just play along with the song it gets a whole lot easier and more fun.
