Authors Note: This tab is an easier way to play a song I tabbed not to long ago, For
Whom The Bell Tolls By Metallica. It uses power chords instead of bar chords, that
my other version implies, but sounds almost exactly the same. It really simplifies
the song in my opinion, and makes it more fun to play. This tab is intended for use
by beginning guitarists and people who don't like using bar chords (much like myself).

Note: The song parts are written out of order, the correct order is at the bottom.

Extra Information:

All this tab is, is another way to play a great song. It makes it so much easier and
more fun because of its simplicity. Like before the riffs that are in pairs must be
kept so, and the timing must be on between them. Also the outro is one way to play it,
and I'm sorry again about not having the outro solo. The main sub riff and lead parts
of the solo are not hard, but must have a lot more time spent on them then the other
parts of the song because of the speed. It's a good idea to have a more experienced
guitarist play these, and leave the rhythm to the less experienced one. That's about it
so peace everyone and good luck. The lyrics are once again bellow just in case.

Lyrics:

Verse 1 -
Make his fight on the hill in the early day,
Constant chill deep inside.
Shouting gun, on they run through the endless gray,
On the fight, for they are right, yes, by who's to say.
For a hill men would kill, why they do not know,
Suffered wounds test there their pride.
Men of five, still alive through the raging glow,
Gone insane from the pain that they surely know.

Chorus 1 -
For whom the bell tolls.
Time marches on (on, on, on...).
For whom the bell tolls.

Verse 2 -
Take a look to the sky just before you die,
It is the last time you will.
Blackened roar massive roar fills the crumbling sky,
Shattered goal fills his soul with a ruthless cry.
Stranger now, are his eyes, to this mystery,
He hears the silence so loud.
Crack of dawn, all is gone except the will to be,
Now they will see what will be, blinded eyes to see.

Chorus 2 -
For whom the bell tolls.
Time marches on (on, on, on...).
For whom the bell tolls.
