Guitar One - Clean Intro Riff: Alternating up and down strokes

e|---------------------------------|

Guitar one - Palm Muted

PM________________________________/

Both Guitars - Distorted

e|---------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------|
G|-9-9-x-x---------6-6-x-x---------|
D|-9-9-x-x-9-9-x-x-6-6-x-x-7-7-x-x-|
A|-7-7-x-x-9-9-x-x-4-4-x-x-7-7-x-x-|
E|---------7-7-x-x---------5-5-x-x-|

On the third time (00:26), one of the guitars does something a little different:

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|-9-9-x-x-11-11--x-x-13-13--x-x-11-11--x-x|
D|-9-9-x-x-x--x---x-x--x--x--x-x--x--x--x-x|
A|-7-7-x-x-9--9---x-x-11-11--x-x--9--9--x-x|
E|-----------------------------------------|

Then they both finish with this:

e|--------|
B|--------|
G|-9------|
D|-9-9-7--|
A|-7-9-7--|
E|---7-5--|

Guitar One - 00:33

e|-------------------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------6-----6-------------|
D|-----2-----2-----9-----9-----6-----6-----9-----9-|
A|-----2-----2-----9-----9-----4-x-x-4-x-x-9-----9-|
E|-x-x-0-x-x-0-x-x-7-x-x-7-x-x-------------7-x-x-7-|

e|-----------------------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------6-----6-----9-9-9-9-9-9-|
D|-----2-----2-----9-----9-----6-----6-----9-9-9-9-9-9-|
A|-----2-----2-----9-----9-----4-x-x-4-x-x-7-7-7-7-7-7-|
E|-x-x-0-x-x-0-x-x-7-x-x-7-x-x-------------------------|

He does something along this line real quick before the next riff

e|-------|
B|-------|
G|-------|
D|-9/179|
A|-7/157|
E|-------|

e|--------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------6-6-6-6-6-6-------------|
D|-2-2-2-2-2-2--9-9-9-9-9-9-6-6-6-6-6-6-9-9-9-9-9-9-|
A|-2-2-2-2-2-2--9-9-9-9-9-9-4-4-4-4-4-4-9-9-9-9-9-9-|
E|-0-0-0-0-0-0--7-7-7-7-7-7-------------7-7-7-7-7-7-|

e|------------------------------------------------------|
B|------------------------------------------------------|
G|--------------------------6-6-6-6-6-6/9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-|
D|-2-2-2-2-2-2--9-9-9-9-9-9-6-6-6-6-6-6/9-9-9-9-9-9-9-9-|
A|-2-2-2-2-2-2--9-9-9-9-9-9-4-4-4-4-4-4/7-7-7-7-7-7-7-7-|
E|-0-0-0-0-0-0--7-7-7-7-7-7-----------------------------|

(00:55) - And he changes riffs yet again...oh man this is getting annoying
It was really hard to hear the high pitched part, I think it might be the second guitar,
but it still sounds good this way (if I do say so myself =P)

e|---------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------|
G|-----9-----------6----7*------9-----------------7*-|
D|-----9-----9-----6--7*--------9-----9-----7---7*---|
A|-----7-----9-----4-7*---------7-----9-----7-7*-----|
E|-x-x---x-x-7-x-x----------x-x---x-x-7-x-x-5--------|

e|---------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------|
G|-----9-----------6----7*------9--------------------|
D|-----9-----9-----6--7*--------9-----9-----7--------|
A|-----7-----9-----4-7*---------7-----9-----7--------|
E|-x-x---x-x-7-x-x----------x-x---x-x-7-x-x-5--------|

(1:05) - Finally he repeats something!

B|---------------------------------|
G|-9-9-x-x---------6-6-x-x---------|
D|-9-9-x-x-9-9-x-x-6-6-x-x-7-7-x-x-|
A|-7-7-x-x-9-9-x-x-4-4-x-x-7-7-x-x-|
E|---------7-7-x-x---------5-5-x-x-|

Guitar two - (Third time)

e|-----------------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------------|
G|-9-9-x-x-11-11--x-x-13-13--x-x-11-11--x-x|
D|-9-9-x-x-x--x---x-x--x--x--x-x--x--x--x-x|
A|-7-7-x-x-9--9---x-x-11-11--x-x--9--9--x-x|
E|-----------------------------------------|

Both guitars finish with something like this

e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|-9-----------7*-----|
D|-9-9-7------7*-7*---|
A|-7-9-7-----7*-------|
E|---7-5-x-x----------|

(2:24)-Dang I love this part....

Guitar one

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------6-6--6-6--6--------------|
D|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--6-6--6-6--6--9-9--9-9--9-|
A|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--4-4--4-4--4--9-9--9-9--9-|
E|-0-0--0-0--0--7-7--7-7--7---------------7-7--7-7--7-|

Don't pause before the last powerchord the second time through and accentuate each of them

e|---------------------------------------------------|
B|---------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------6-6--6-6--6-------------|
D|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--6-6--6-6--6--9-9--9-9-9-|
A|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--4-4--4-4--4--9-9--9-9-9-|
E|-0-0--0-0--0--7-7--7-7--7---------------7-7--7-7-7-|

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------6-6--6-6--6--------------|
D|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--6-6--6-6--6--9-9--9-9--9-|
A|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--4-4--4-4--4--9-9--9-9--9-|
E|-0-0--0-0--0--7-7--7-7--7---------------7-7--7-7--7-|

e|----------------------------------------------------|
B|----------------------------------------------------|
G|---------------------------6-6--6-6--6-------6~--9~-|
D|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--6-6--6-6--6--9~---6~--9~-|
A|-2-2--2-2--2--9-9--9-9--9--4-4--4-4--4--9~---4~--7~-|
E|-0-0--0-0--0--7-7--7-7--7---------------7~----------|

Guitar two - plays harmonics behind guitar one. They seem to decend then ascend
up and down the fretboard so here is my best guess. You need megadistortion
to get these harmonics to sound good.

e|-------------------------------------|
B|-------------------------------------|
G|-------------------------------------|
D|-------------------------------------|
A|-------------------------------------|
E|-12*-12*--9*-9*-7*-7*-5*-5*-3*-3*-2*-|

e|-----------------------------------|
B|-----------------------------------|
G|-----------------------------------|
D|-----------------------------------|
A|-----------------------------------|
E|2*-3*-3*-5*-5*-7*-7*-9*-9*-12*-12*-|

It's more fluid, not really individual notes picked. Just run your finger up and down
the string.

(2:45) - This is a bass part but it still sounds good on guitar.

e|-----------------------------|
B|-----------------------------|
G|-----------------------------|
D|-----------------------------|
A|-x-7-7-------x-4-4-----------|
E|-------x-7-7-------x-5-5-x---|

(3:15) - And it ends on:

e|----------|
B|-9--------|
G|-9--11-9--|
D|-7--11-9--|
A|----9--7--|
E|----------|

FINALLY! That took me 2 1/2 hours and I think it's pretty dang good for my first tab. PLEASE e-mail me if you used/liked my tab, even if it's just a quick "thank you" so that I know that I didn't waste my whole night for nothing! Rock on -Mike "The Tab Man"
