Throughout the song he uses distortion and a little bit of chorus.
The chorus isn't wobbly like Come As You Are, it's pretty smooth and not all that noticeable.
However, live he turned off distortion most of the song to get that volume-varying sound-although
he uses distortion all the way through on Nevermind and he doesn't use the chorus when he plays it live, I don't know why. But if you want to play like Nevermind-Distortion and slight chorus all the
way through. If you want to play like Kurt did live-Distortion during the post-choruses and the last verse and last chorus and no chorus effect.
