The Smashing Pumpkins - Today
Tabbed by Kyle

as not many people have noticed, the first four notes of the intro riff are played one full octave down from the
note you would expect. Just listen on the recording and you will notice the notes start on very low and go higher
instead of starting on high notes like most of the tabs say. Notice the bass doesnt correspont to the guitar on
these notes. Please trust this tab because i use it to play with my band and the notes dont clash at all and
enjoy. Sorry its in 5 string format for those of you with 4 string basses but im sure you know how you need to
drop tune ;). for those who dont just bring your E down to a D and move the notes accordingly.

Here are the scales you may want to use for this song if you need to fill in for any part of the song that i might have omitted. Just use this to construct any kind of jam or piece that you might think of that sounds better! (Note: This is not a riff)
