I will be playing this song for a gig in which my band only consists of a
drummer, vocalist and guitarist (that'd be me). The problem? This song needs
at least two guitarists.
So, I wrote this tab (A.) For other bands who are in the same dilemma I am
(one guitar and a well-layered piece) and (B.)so I could have a printed copy
of my version.

Place your capo on the 3rd fret on the top 5 strings, leaving low E open so
it looks like this:

e|-------capo-on-3rd----------|
B|-------capo-on-3rd----------|
G|-------capo-on-3rd----------|
D|-------capo-on-3rd----------|
A|-------capo-on-3rd----------|
E|-----------open-------------|

			     Breakeven - The Script
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Tuning: Standard

Chords Used:
Em7 |x20000|
G |320003|
D |xx0232|
Cadd9 |x30010|

Intro:
e|--------------------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------------------|
G|---7---7---7---7---7---7--------------------------------|
D|-8---8---8---8---8---8---8----7---7-----8----8----8-----| x4
A|----------------------------8---8----10---10---10---10--|
E|--------------------------------------------------------|

Now here's where the capo-ed trickery bit comes in. Without the capo, you'd
play it like this:

e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|----3---3---3---3---|
D|--------------------|
A|--------------------|
E|-3---3----1---1-----|

But since you've already got the capo on the third fret on the G string, you
play it like this:

e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|----0---0---0---0---|Play it twice, then through
D|--------------------|the first half of the verse
A|--------------------|
E|-3---3----1---1-----|

Verse:
Now, during the second half of the verse, you switch to chords; The whole
reason why your guitar was capo-ed!

Em7 D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1) Cadd9Her (x32030@1)best days will be some of my worst

Em7 D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1) Cadd9She (x32030@1)finally met a man that's gonna put her first

Em7 D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1) Cadd9While (x32030@1)I'm wide awake she's got no trouble sleeping

Em7 D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1) Cadd9'Cuz (x32030@1)when a heart breaks no it don't breakeven (even, no)

What am I supposed to do when the best part of me was always you

What am I supposed to say when I'm all choked up and you're ok

Cadd9 (x32030@1)G (320003@1) D (xx0232@1) Em7

Cadd9 (x32030@1)G (320003@1) D (xx0232@1) Em7

Verse 2:
e|--------------------|
B|--------------------|
G|----0---0---0---0---|Play Twice, then through the verse
D|--------------------|until: "'Cuz when a heart breaks
A|--------------------|no it don't breakeven"
E|-3---3----1---1-----|

Play chords on that final line:

Em7 D (xx0232@1) G (320003@1) Cadd9'Cuz (x32030@1)when a heart breaks no it don't breakeven

    Em7 D (xx0232@1)

G (320003@1) Cadd9You (x32030@1)took your suitcase, I took the blame.
