A5 E5
Twist the dials, see I didn't know this could go this loud
          F#5 D5
I roll my window down and let the air go round
                     A5
Nothing happened really
       E5
No not much at all
             F#5 D5
But for some reason I, I feel quite tall

                 A5
We only sat on a couch
             E5
Pretty close to be fair
            F#5 D5
Yeah we did kiss a bit but it ended there
                     A5 E5
From that leather couch in someone else's house
           F#5 D5
I take the clarity and leave it out

D5 E5 F#5 D5
I hope this was the start
                  A5
But maybe there's more
                 F#5
Would it mark the start
D5 E5 F#5 D5
Please say I haven't taken too long, have I?
           A5
To sort my head out
            F#5 D5
To mark the start of this night

A5 E5 F#5 D5

D5 E5 F#5 D5
I hope this was the start

But maybe there's more
                 F#5
Would it mark the start
D5 E5 F#5 D5
Please say I haven't taken too long, have I?
           A5
To sort my head out
            F#5 D5
To mark the start of this night

A5 E5

Yeah we did kiss a bit but it ended there

I've covered the basic chords here.. if you want to go for the slightly more
advanced way of playing it (which does sound better and it's closer to the way
tommy plays it) then try these chords:

Intro / Verse
(in the intro the first set (3 chords) listed below is the equivalent to playing
A, E and F#m in the basic chords and then the second set listed (7 chords) is
played instead of the D chord).

If you can't play the 2nd set fast enough then you could just play the
0/9/11/11/0/0 and it would sound OK.

e | --0---0---0-- | e | --0---0--0---0---0---0--0--- |
B | --0---0---0-- | B | --0---0--0---0---0---0--0--- |
D | --0---0---0-- | D | --11--8--10--11--10--8--10-- |
G | --11--11--8-- | G | --11--8--10--11--10--8--10-- |
A | --11--11--8-- | A | --(b9)--6--8---(b9)--8---6--8--- |
E | --(b9)--8---6-- | E | --0---0--0---0---0---0--0--- |

Chorus
(I hope this was the start...)

e | --0---0---0-- | e | --0---0---0--- |
B | --0---0---0-- | B | --0---0---0--- |
D | --11--0---0-- | D | --11--0---0--- |
G | --11--11--8-- | G | --11--11--8--- |
A | --(b9)--11--8-- | A | --(b9)--11--8--- |
E | --0---8---6-- | E | --0---(b9)--6--- |

(If you're having a go at this version I'm sure you can figure out when to play
the chords for the rest of the song!)
