Hey, this is my first submission on here. i'm open for suggestions.

i noticed that the chords that were up for this were completely wrong, so i had to
out the right ones and correct them. so here.

also, this is figured out for piano, so i'm going to have to explain some of the
i'll do that at the end.

I'm not sure about the instrumental section in the middle, i usually just play Am, Em,
Dm. it sounds pretty good.

anyway. here.

C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmWell (133111@1)I guess this is where I left my life
    DmAnd (xx0231@1)all its operations
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmAnd (133111@1)I know that I will never get this twice
    DmWith (xx0231@1)all negotiations

For the next line play an Am chord but drop the root from, A, G#, G, F every four beats.

AmThis (x02210@1)feels like the place between what is and might have been
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmSo (133111@1)I guess this is where we both find out
DmIf (xx0231@1)this was meant to be
C (x32010@1) EmAnd (022000@1)I'll tell myself, I don't need you
Fm (133111@1) DmI'll (xx0231@1)tell myself enough to get me through
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmBut (133111@1)I'll finally show you how I should have been being with you every day
DmIf (xx0231@1)you can take a little more

C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmNow (133111@1)it takes me back to times on Lincoln Avenue
DmWhen (xx0231@1)you said you'd never get tired of the boy
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmThat (133111@1)seemed to be so far from growing up
    DmBut (xx0231@1)we were different then

same Am Pattern as before

AmThis (x02210@1)feels like the place between being ready and being in the way
C (x32010@1) EmAnd (022000@1)I'll tell myself, I don't need you
Fm (133111@1) DmI'll (xx0231@1)tell myself enough to get me through
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) FmBut (133111@1)I'll finally show you how I should have been being with you every day
DmIf (xx0231@1)you can wait a little more

instrumental. i'll post it when i get it.

Am thing again

AmThis (x02210@1)feels like the time that I'm ready for you
Are you ready for me
C (x32010@1) Em'Cause (022000@1)I'll tell myself I'll make it through
Fm (133111@1) DmI'll (xx0231@1)tell myself anything to get over you
C (x32010@1) EmAnd (022000@1)I won't blame you but I'm finally ready to show you
Fm (133111@1) DmThat (xx0231@1)I'm ready to show you, I'm ready to show you, yeah
C (x32010@1) Em (022000@1) Fm (133111@1) DmI'll (xx0231@1)tell myself that I never needed anybody anyway, but anyway
CI (x32010@1)need you
EmI (022000@1)need you now
FmI (133111@1)need you now
DmI'm (xx0231@1)ready now

the chords pretty much follow a basic quarter note pattern throughout the song.

the inversions i found are:

C - C, E, G
Em - B, E, G
Fm - C, F, A
Dm - A, D, F

the Am progression is:

A, C, E
G#, C, E
G, C, E
F, C, E

that's it.
