There are quite alot of versions of the song
and the album version is different to the video.
This tab tries to show how the studio version of
the 'Gold'-Album is played.

I think the intro is actually played by a banjo and
a guitar but you can easily play both at a time
(and on a guitar only) but it leads to a lot of
possibilities it can be played, because you can the
B and G play on the B and G string ("fret 0") but then you
have to pick one string twice in a row on different frets,
or you can play it on the G and D string (fret 4 and 5)
and you can grab it sometimes better like as grabbing a
chord. The way i play it is a mix, but you can do
whatever fits best to your hand.
