------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please no more sad songs - Idle Race ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Robert McMillan E-mail: mcmillan_ra (at) hotmail.com Tuning: Standard The Idle Race, the band Jeff Lynne was in before he joined the Move (and therefore - before ELO). I am surprised that they are not already in the Ultimate Guitar database, so thought I'd post one. (Here's a link to their biog - they have long since split. http://www.allmusic.com/artist/the-idle-race-mn0000081981/biography) The F D chord sequence at the end of the verses is the same as the intro riff. The F might be better as an Fmaj7, the F sounds right to me. Also, I am not sure that the guitar fill after the first chorus is right, it's very fast and I'm not particularly good at picking those bits up. I play rhythm more than lead, so... Corrections and comments welcome.
