This version of I fought the law by green day is very similar to the version by the clash. Just a key change
and a few slight changes to the lyrics. In my opinion it sounds best played using bar chords, (power chords
for the C Bb A F bit) and using for example the F chord  rooted on the A string 8th fret instead of on the 
E string first fret etc (I'm guessing you'll see what I'm getting at when you play it)
