I noticed the other person had it really off. I think it was because they were tuned half a step. So I just took their chords, added a Capo on the 1st fret, and messed with one the chords then just wrote the rest out. It doesn't sound exactly perfect but it sounds than the other guys if you ask me. Try playing it on Electric if you want, I sounded it all out on my Acoustic. Hope you enjoy! -Cory Kesselring (aka thebocesman) Capo 1 Em Two packs of cigarettes a day G The strongest whiskey Kentucky can make A5 C That's the recipe to put a vagabond on his hands and knees Em G I watched it all up close, I knew it more than most G A5 I saw a side of him I could never show A5 C For the sympathy, for a world that wouldn't let him be Em That's the man he was G Have you heard enough Chorus: G C G C G What a shame, what a shame to judge a life that you can't change G C G The choir sings the church bells ring C G So won't you give this man his wings G C G C G C What a shame to have to beg you to see we're not all the same C Em What a shame Em--G--C(x2) Em There's a hard life for every silver spoon, G There's a touch of gray for every shade of blue A5 That's the way that I see life C If there was nothing wrong then there'd be nothing right Em G And for this working man, they said could barely stand A5 There's got to be a better place to land A5 C Some kind of remedy, for a world that wouldn't let him be Em That's the man he was G Have you heard enough Chorus Em-G Em-C Em-G Em-C Bridge: Em A5 G God forgive the hands that laid you down C Em They never knew how, but your broken A5 G Heart can break the sound C And change the season Em A5 Now the leaves are falling faster, G C Happily ever after Em A5 You gave me hope through your endeavors G C And now you will live forever Chorus G C G What a shame, what a shame C G Cause we're not all the same G C G What a shame, what a shame C Em Cause we're not all the same *let Em ring out, stroke once* -End- Also some things that might help you if you want to make these better.
