----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Epilogue - The Antlers ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Vexeled Email: quincimon@hotmail.com This song is incredibly beautiful and a joy to learn and play. I hope you all have fun with it. Song Structure: Intro *Verse x2 Chorus Verse x2 Chorus x3 *When I refer to the verse here I'm referring to the words of the verse, not the actual chord progression. Each verse has a couple cycles of the chord progression. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intro: The intro goes along these lines. Each chord is played for one measure. Em Bm Am C Bm Am C D ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Verse: G Bm C G(the root slide-down is G, F#) Em Am C D The verse chord progression is played in such a pattern that it's hard to write it out over the words as I've done with the chorus below. You'll have to listen to the song to get it. It just repeats until the chorus comes in. As an added note for some people (such as myself), the switch from G to F# is incredibly awkward. A possible solution is to simply put your 1st finger on the 2nd fret of the 6th string instead of the F# and play only the top 3 strings or so. It's sounds more or less the same to anyone who isn't overly fussy. A definite must for beginners who love this song and still want to play it. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Chorus: Am G x3 then D Like so: Am You're screaming, G and cursing, Am and angry, G and hurting me, Am and then smiling, G and crying, D apologizing. Enjoy!
