This is a great song that Van Morrison recorded in the late '60s which doesn't seem to get the recognition it deserves, maybe because it was never properly recorded and released. The 'working' version that came out on the Bang Masters compilation in 1990 is the only one available. I think it is probably played with a capo on the second fret (i.e. played as if in G), but the chords below are in A, i.e. open-string. I can figure out the tabs for the intro, but I'm not sure about the chords. ~Chandan Deuskar, May 2010 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- A C#m When ya thought I was a stranger F#m When you looked upon me D E A C#m F#m D E When I came back A C#m But to take you from disaster F#m D E A C#m F#m D E I cannot master the four winds in your shack A C#m In the roamin', in the gloamin' F#m D E A C#m F#m D E You have brought and set before me A C#m And I think that it's an omen F#m D E A A7 I'm just not what so many people see D A And you shined your glory all around D A Do not disguise what we did D A F#m(?)
