This song has polluted my mind so much that I'm going to have to tab it to try to flush it out of my system. It's catchy, and that's the problem... For the most part, the song consists entirely of power chords. Chords: B5: X244XX B5/Bb: X144XX Ab5: 466XXX E5: 022XXX C#5: 466XXX (Eb5: 688XXX) INTRO: (played with several mutes of the strings and heavy dampening for the percussive sound inbetween) B5, B5/Bb, Ab5, E5 (if you want to complicate it, the E5 is actually played X799XX and then it slides down rapidly to Eb5, C#5 and back to B5, which then starts the next line) VERSE 1 ------- B5 B5/Bb Ab5 You're so fit and you know it E5 B5 And I only dream of you B5/Bb Ab5 'cos my life's such a bitch E5 but you can change it PRE-CHORUS ---------- B5 F#5 maybe you need somebody just like me, E5 C#5 E5 don't turn me down 'cos I've got no car and I've got no money... CHORUS (as above) ------ BRIDGE ------ Ab5 F#5 E5 Maybe you think that you're too good for me. Ab5 F#5 E5 Tonight when you get home you're gonna see. F#5 x6 E5 x6 F# x6 E5 B5 F#5 Ab5 F#5 E5 I know I've got something better than you bay-beee B5 B5/Bb Na na na na Na na na na } Ab5 E5 (Eb5,C#5) } x2 Na na na na Na na na na } CHORUS ------ (chords as before) I asked you to dance at the disco But you said no. The whole world was watching and laughing On the day (that) I asked you to dance at the disco But you said no E5 The whole world was watching and laughing C#5 E5 On the day that I crashed and burned... B5 At your feet. (that last chorus actually has quite a lot of lead guitar fills spread throughout it, but I can't figure them out clearly enough to tab them. It seems to be primarily on the top strings, E and B around fret 14 for both and working around that area. This is the same guitar that you can audibly hear sliding down on E from fret 11 to 7 right at the very end.) But that's it. I hope you've found this useful. I've probably made a mistake somewhere, so corrections are welcome :-)
