I adapted it for bass from the guitar transcription in Guitarist Magazine. Its actualy relativly easy (assuming your tapping is up to scratch). Unusualy, for most of the piece the right hand hould play the notes on the E and A strings, while the left plays the D and G strings. The exception to this is the first six bars of the coda, where the E is played by the left hand, and the rest is tapped. (and the last bar before the DC which should be played normaly) The only hard part is the first bar of the coda - the right hand is a bitch. I play the A string with my thumb, D with my index, and G with my third. Yes this does feel odd, but its the best I can find. As usual, let me know if this is of interest to you, and I'll be more likely to enter more stuff. If you do use it, then you should also feel oblidged to put something back onto the archive - even if its something trivialy simple. Others will find it usefull. Ian Stephenson ian@ohm.york.ac.uk
