Intro: G-D-F

[G] Sittin' at a stop light yesterday as a
[D] Funeral procession made it's way [C]through the gate
[G] I watched it roll up a winding road through a
[D] field of green with white head stones all[C] in a row    
[Am]and it made me think about where I'm at on my 
[D] not so straight and narrow path all the
[C] Generous and mostly undeserved[D] blessings that I've had

[G] I had an all-american mom and dad some of the
[D] Coolest friends you could ever have found
[F] Love I thought I'd never find sometimes I
[C] Can't beleive this life is mine and no
[G] I'm not planning on leavin' yet but the
[D] truth is you just never know and
[F] If this is as good as it gets
[C] Man I think I'm good to go[G]-[D]I'm good to[F]Go

[G] I said a prayer for the dearly departed and the 
[D] Loved one's left broken hearted and
[C] Traffic started   and I
[G] Drove away a little more able to 
[D] see the good things on my table and for 
[C] that I'm greatful    Cause I've
[Am]Had my trouble had my trial I've
[D] Hit the mark and I've missed by a mile had
[C] Days that I've been fightin' mad but the 
[D] Good times have more than out weighed the bad got to

[G] hold my new born baby girl and the
[D] hand of a man as he slipped from this world I've 
[F] Laughed so hard I could'nt stop seen the
[C] Sun rise from a mountian top and no
[G] I'm not plannin' on leavin' yet but the 
[D] Truth is you just never know and
