D They say it is a jungle Bm but I have seen no green G they call it civilization but I don't know what they mean A these buildings they surround me D just like iron bars Bm I cannot hear the crickets G and i cannot see the stars G and i feel like a machine Em when i should feel like a man Am D I wanna get out of this city just as fast as I can C D G There's a rainbow that will lead us to the mountins C D G and that rainbow seems to say hello there C D G but as we gaze out at the summit that extends into the clouds we are unaware of the bear D now I see country open up before me like a book Bm and I run out of the city just so i can have a look G I climb on top the mountain past the tree line to the snow A and i looked out at the beauty spreding out far below G Em and I feel like making music and I feel like singing songs Am D and I can't believe I waited for this long C D G theres a rainbow that will lead us to the mountains C D G and that rainbow seems to say hello there C D G but as we gaze out at the summit that extends into the clouds we are unaware of the bear D my father he once told me son you will become a man Bm but not before you're eaten up I guess thats just gods plan G oh oh A well I had reached the peak D no higher could I climb Bm there was no greater love that a man like me could find G but I was not the only one to have ever gone this way A the bear was closing in now on his unsuspecting pray AH! D I screamed out in anguish as the bear bit down on me Bm my eyes ran red with blood until I could no longer see G I couldn't hear the crickets A and I could not see the stars G I only felt a longing for the concrete and the cars Em but i know i can't go back to the way things were before Am D but that's ok because I know that after death theres so much moreeeeeeee C D G theres a rainbow thatll lead us to the mountains C D G and that rainbow seems to say hello there C D G but as we gaze out at the summit that extends into the cloud we are unaware of the bear C D G we are unaware of the bear C D G but the bear can smell our scent in the air C D G and although we have been told to beware to beware C D G we are unaware of the bear
