------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eden - Emily Haines ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tabbed by: Paul B. Email: godlikepaul@yahoo.com Tuning: Standard Ok... this is my first tablature... ever. Whoo. I'm fairly sure that this is all right. This is Emily Haines' "Eden", off her first album, the somewhat-difficult-to-find "Cut Half and Also Double". Use 5th string barre chords for Fmi, C#, and A#; 6th string for F#, G# and the A# during "chorus". You can play G# as a 5th string barre by playing 1-1-1 on the D, G, and B strings. Tune it down a half step, and you can play all chords associated with the verse as fifth barres. It's really not as complicated as I'm making it sound... feel it out, and pay attention the song to get the strum pattern. Intro: Fmi C# x2 Fmi C# A# Welcome to the garden of Eden Fmi C# Can you see even me, when I've pushed? [Fmi C# A# G#] Fmi C# A# F# From where I'm standing, it's a long way down C# Up here, at the top of a building, A# Fmi Top of a mountain, top of a crowd C# A# Fmi Watching all the people moving down there in their clothes C# It's like they're hiding, but there's nothing left A# Fmi That everybody doesn't already know C# A# G# I feel alright, i'm not coming down F# A# G# until I remember, F# and I will remember. [Fmi C# x2] Fmi C# From where I'm standing, it's high enough, A# Fmi I'm looking out over miles and miles of highway signs C# A# Fmi Do you know how to get out when you run out C# A# G# When you ran out of reasons nights ago F# A# G# And I will remember, F# Fmi C# A# if I still remember the garden of eden. Fmi C# You could see even me, when I'm pushed A# Fmi C# Fmi Call it a fall and lay all the blame on me. [Fmi C# A# G#] x3 End on F ===============================================================================
