Hey. :) This is my first tab. I'm doing this COMPLETELY by ear, so sorry if its wrong, but it sounds alright to me. The other tabs are different than mine because they don't use the Bm as much/in the right places, or whatever. But this sounds alright to me. If I made a mistake, please tell me. :) Anyway, here goes nothing!! For the intro, you want to strum D three times, and A five times (for each time it says to play the chords). Then, when you get the G, strum on that eight times, and then strum A eight times. Intro: D A D A G A Verse 1: D Harness your heart and be still now A Quiet that mind that will wonder Bm A All sorts of dark alleys D Tragedy strikes your self esteem A Constantly waiting for an ending Bm A To all of this Pre-chorus: (* means strum once) Bm* She opens her eyes A* Suddenly she cries D Can we help her? (D) Can we help her? A* And she replies: Chorus: D You know A I fake it oh so well Bm That God himself can't tell A What I mean and why my words are less than D A Parallel with my feet Bm You ask me what I need A And all I really need D Is to breathe D Ohhhh A Ahhhh Verse 2: D People they seem so interested A Only a few get infested Bm A With all the aches and pains D Doctor, oh doctor please help her A I fear she may not be breathing Bm Blue lips and doe eyes A That's her disguise Chorus: D You know A I fake it oh so well Bm That God himself can't tell A What I mean and why my words are less than D A Parallel with my feet Bm You ask me what I need A And all I really need D Is to breathe Bridge: D Oh oh oh A Oh oh oh Bm Oh oh oh A Oh oh oh D* Give me some space to breathe A* I need a little room to breathe A* Give me some space to breathe Bm D* All I need is a little room to breathe A I fake it oh so well Bm That God can't tell Chorus: D You know A I fake it oh so well Bm That God himself can't tell A What I mean and why my words are less than D A Parallel with my feet Bm You ask me what I need A And all I really need D* Is to breathe Let me Breathe If you want to, just pluck the D string right before the last word (which is breathe). It makes a kinda cool effect. :)
