The previous tab of this song was only half correct, first of all, if you want to get it
sound right, you need to tune your guitar
half step down.

Excuse all of the names of the different chords, I'm not very good at naming them. The
features pretty simple C/G/Fm/Am/Dm pattern, however Conor plays them with variations,
why during some parts of the song if you try to play standard C (etc.) chords,
they are going to sound quite right. Another thing, I wasn't really sure about whether
played F or Fmaj9 during some bits of the song,
so just test it out yourself, see whichever sounds better to you.

Listen to the original song for its strumming pattern and its occasional percussion
by tapping your guitar using the end of your palm.

Intro x 2

Verse 1:

Cmaj7 Fmaj9
You can wear your new white shoes
                Cmaj7
In the muddy afternoon
                       Fmaj9
Walking past the stay-drunk stoop
                       Am/2
They whistle with their hands
                       G/2
But I could be your catcall, too
                     F
Anything you want to do
                   Cmaj7
Anything you want to do

Intro x 2

Verse 2:
You can take your slide trombone
Play it in your catacombs
Find a town that moves real slow
And turn it on its head
And I could be your pharaoh's tomb
Anything you want to do
Lover, anything you want to do

Intro

Chorus:

Dm G
And if you want to be common
      Am Fmaj9
I can claim that I tamed you

Intro x 2

Verse 3:
You can paint your nails lime green
Rent yourself a limousine
Kidnap the professor's niece
Tell them that she's dead
We'll party in a hotel room
Anything you want to do
Sister, anything you want to do

Intro

Verse 4:
You can get your hair all wet
Sleeping on the riverbed
Kiss a frog and then dissect
You got to find out what's inside
And you can have my bad side, too
Anything you want to do
Sure, anything you want to do

Intro x 2

Chorus:
And if you want to be common
I will claim that I tamed you
A demigod in a bonnet
They're going to know it ain't true

    Am/2 G/2 F Em
And yes, you are King David's star
              Dm C Dm G
And the crescent moon, and the crescent moon
You must sweep the Bowdhi tree
I sit beneath, and I sit beneath

Intro x 2

Verse 5:
You can wear your new white shoes
In the dirty afternoon
Walking through the traffic fumes
A flower in your hair
And I will swing upon your moods
Anytime you want me to
Just tell me what you want to do

(play the intro riff through out till the end)
Anything you want to do
Anything you want to do

"I need a favor from the lighting person. I want you to make it real dark ... and I'll
the favor." Said Conor.

And then the lights go red, he plays the intro, and everyone gets chills.
