Tuning: C standard (C,F,Bb,Eb,G,c)

Note: All note names are written as though we are in standard tuning, as I
      refuse to re-learn my fretboard in C.

Note: Sometimes I feel it necessary to notate rhythm, My conventions are as
      follows:
                W = whole note/rest          R = rest
                h= (x2444x@1)half note/rest
                q = quarter note/rest        /
                e= (022000@1)eighth note/rest       o/o = repeat previous bar
                s = sixteenth note/rest    /
                h.= dotted half note

                Tied note values are connected with an underscore.
                example: s__(s)  (a 16th tied to another 16th)

                anything under: /--3-- is atriplet (x02210@1)
                Double bar lines indicate the end of sections.

                Bar lines occur every 4 beats.

Repeat from top, then:

These next 2 riffs are tough to hear for sure - even when slowed down.
This should be pretty damn close though.

  1st ending:

G.|------------------|-----|-----|-----||
Eb|-7----------------|---/-|---/-|---/-|| Now repeat from the 5th bar
Bb|-7----------------|-o/o-|-o/o-|-o/o-||  and take 2nd ending.

Harmony parts for 2nd ending:

G.|-13b(15)~~~|-(15)~~~---|-12b(13)~~~|-(13)~~~---||Gtr3
Eb|-----------|-----------|-----------|-----------||

c.|-----------|-----------|-----------|-----------||
G.|-8b(10)~~~-|-(10)~~~---|-7b(8)~~~--|-(8)~~~----||Gtr4
Eb|-----------|-----------|-----------|-----------||
                                          ^^^
I really wouldn't worry too much about these. You could try just letting
the bass handle all the 16th notes and having the 2 guitars play some
combination of the harmonies. It might sound a bit empty though; I'd
have to experiment.

Guitar Solo:

c.|-12-8----8----|-------------------|-------------------|----7-------|
G.|------12---12-|-10-8h10p87-8-7---|-------------------|------7~----|
Eb|--------------|-----------------9-|-9876---------4567-|-9----------|
Bb|--------------|-------------------|-----9876-5678-----|------------|
F.|--------------|-------------------|-------------------|------------|
C.|--------------|-------------------|-------------------|------------|

it splits into harmonies here:

  "lead" part:
c.|---------------|---------------|14b(15)--15b(17)---|17b(19)--19b(20)--|19~||
G.|---------------|12~~12h15p12-15|-------13-------15-|-------17-------19|---||
Eb|12~~12h14p12-14|---------------|-------------------|------------------|---||
   h (x2444x@1) e (022000@1)e (022000@1)e (022000@1)q  h (x2444x@1) e (022000@1)e (022000@1)e (022000@1)q  q      q q      q   q      q q      q  h (x2444x@1)      --3--/         --3--/

  harmony part:
c.|---------------|-12~~--------17-|12~-12~-14~-14~|-15~-15~-17~-17~|-----||
G.|-12~~-------15-|----------------|---------------|----------------|-17~-||
Eb|---------------|----------------|---------------|----------------|-----||
    h.         q    h.          q   q   q   q   q    q   q   q   q    h (x2444x@1)The above is an approximation (albeit a good one) of what you hear on the
record.I suspect a whammy pedal is involved on the recording. It sounds like
the bends (as I have them notated) in the lead part are actually starting a
5th below the target note, going up, and then coming all the way back down in
one smooth motion. The notes I wrote after each bend on the 2nd string
approximate the "coming back down" of the note.

It's not exact, but if you (like me) have 2 guitars to work with and (also
like me) don't feel like dicking around with a whammy, this is a very reason
-able solution, but it only works if you actually have both parts - the lead
part sounds rather empty by itself.

Repeat the Verse Riff 2X

Outro:

Rhythm guitar plays Riff 3 4X

Meanwhile, the other guitars begin layering on harmony parts:

Harmony Part A:

Harmony Part D:

Ending:

F.|-2-2-----2--||
C.|-0-0-320-0--||

Like a lot of the Dethklok stuff, this tune finds Mr. Small taking full
advantage of the wonders of multi-track recording, which can be a pain in
the ass for those of us, like me, who are trying to arrange it for a live
setting. Ultimately you'll just have to experiment with which harmonies
work for you - unless, of course you want to have 4 or 5 guitar players on
stage (a nightmare, I assure you). Anyway, good luck.

Cheers,

-Old Rasputin
