Exercise: ( p+m i p i ) pattern

Many Fernando Sor's songs are structure as Estudio or
Study Exercises. The main goal of these "studies" is to
provide memorable pieces and enhance the skill and knowledge

of the practitioner. Andres Segovia selected a set of 20 of
those studies, each emphasizing a particular aspect of
technique, and these are now some of the best known of

Sor's works. Opus 35. No13 is study 2 which deal with
double plucks.

Song pattern ( p+m i p i)

This pattern is not uniform throughout as there are many
variations of double plucks-thumb with middle/index finger.

Technique
There are many variations of double plucks- either with thumb
with middle or ring finger. Opus 35. No.13 is simple song for
the left hand with only 2 barred chords. The

trick is all on the right hand.

Tip: This song sound good fast or slow as long as it's in tempo.
Start slow and progress to turbo.

Note there are different endings for the double repeat except
for the last part c.

Etude II-Opus 35, No.13

I have included the left (LH) and right (RH) hand fingering.
p = pulgar = thumb
i = indice = index
m = medio = middle
a = anular = ring
