This is a great song and I couldn't find a good tab for it so I decided to make one.
is my first tab so be gentle.

This strum pattern isn't exactly right but it sounds pretty close.
D*DUD*DU*UD*D

On the LAST UP STROKE I like to play the A string open when playing the E chord and when
the A chord play the B string open. Sounds a lot more like the song. I only do this
the beginning of each verse.

Intro: E A E A

There's a lot about life you can learn on a bus,

The closer we sat to the back, the smarter we got.

We were poor, we were ugly, we were all best friends.
A
White-eyed, baptized, and still wantin' to sin.

       B A F#m
That's us, headin' straight into town when the work is done.

We thought tobacco and beer in a can
A

But I saw how it made my momma cry.
       E
It was huntin' and fishin' and football games.

Fallin' in and out of love, we rode in trucks.

That's us with mud on our tires when it rained a lot.

                    F#m B A

It wasn't that long ago, it's apart of my soul. Yeah.
