ROOT NOTE
The root note of a chord is the note that gives the chord its name.  This means A is the
note of A, A minor and all the A chords.  C is the root of C major, C minor, C7 and so on.

Although it might be tiring, use downstrokes here rather than alternate picking to
the frentic feel of the riff.  The whole riff can be fretted with your first and third fingers.

USe alternate picking throughout this part so that the notes on the fifth string are
with downstrokes, and those on the fourth are played with upstrokes.  Using your second
to fret the E notes in bar three lets you fret bar four cleanly with your first and 
fingers.

This part fades gradually half way through the verse.  Use alternate Picking Throughout,
you first finger fretting the A at the 14th fret throughout.  Use your third finger to
the C at the 17th fret, But your fourth to reach the high A.

This is a slimmed down version of the main intro riff, But with beats 2 and 4 silent in
1 to 3, and beat 2 silent in last bar.  As in the intro, use downstrokes throughout but
the palm of your picking hand during the rests.

Use downstrokes throughout, but try to keep you forearm as loose and relaxed as possible
avoid tension building up at this high tempo.  The open string chords at the end of
3 and 4 occur naturally ad you change chords, so dont go out of your way to sound them.

Not as much a solo as a repeating to bar riff, this should be played with downstrokes.
the A notes with your third finger, then use your first finger for the C notes then
up to the 7th fret D in bar 2.  This places you in position yo reach the high A with 
third finger.

This is much the same part as the interlude(guitar 2) but played on an octave higher.
the strings on the 12th fret with your first finger for the initial Am chords, then move
barre up a fret for the F chord:fret the low F with the third finger and the A with your second.

These chord stabs bring the final verse to an abrupt and suprising and, so belt them out
