This is the Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy for solo guitar. It's played in 2/4
moderately slow. I've seen other tabs on other sites that have this played in Dm.
It sounds pretty wrong. This is in Em, standard tuning (EADGBE)and is accurate.

Intro: Played 2x (I play these notes staccato, with my palm slightly muting the bass note.)

I'd rather not go into a long technical thing, but most of the song can be played
with (on your picking hand) the thumb plucking the three bass strings (low E,A,D)
and your index on the G, middle on the B, and ring on the high E. I approach it a
little differently myself, so just play it as is most comfortable for you.
There is one, actually two chords, that are a little tricky. They're tabbed like so:

---2~r~2~r~ For this part, bar your index over all the strings at the second
-4---5---4------------------------| fret, use your ring finger on the B string 4th fret for the
----------- first chord, x2xx42--| Do not move these fingers for the
----------- second chord, x3xx52-| Just use your middle finger to press the
-2---3---2------------------------| third fret on the A string, and use your pinky to press the
----------------------------------| fifth fret on the B string.

Keep in mind this is only for solo guitar, there are additional parts and
harmonics in orchestrated versions of this song. These are just the main themes.
This piece is really short and simple once you've gotten it down. Don't give up!
If you have any questions or comments you can e-mail me. I hope this helps you
and have fun playing. :)
