BANG AND BLAME (Bass tab)

From: silversa@VAX.CS.HSCSYR.EDU (silverstone)

Verse:

G-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D-7-----7---7---7-7-5-----5---5---5-5-7-----7---7---7-7-5-----5---5-------5---7-
A---7-7---7---7-------5-5---5---5-------7-7---7---7-------5-5---5---5-5-7---7---
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Repeat this as often as necessary, as the verse legnths change each time.

Refrain:

G----------------------------5---------------------
D------------------------------7-5-7-9-9-9-9-7-9-7-
A-----3--------------------------------------------
E-5-5---5-3-5--5-5--2s3--5-5-----------------------

Guitar Solo:

G---9-9------9-9------9-9----------------------
D-------9--------9--------9--10-10-10-10-7-9-7-
A----------------------------------------------
E----------------------------------------------

The only thing I'm not positive about with this is the refrain (I can't
tell which octave it's in, or whether it changes like I have it here).
Play this song as steady as possible, since the bass line is the song's
backbone. Unlike most of Monster, play this using the Hammerstroke only.
Otherwise the notes will be much to crisp if you want to play the song like
the band does it.

On "Bang and Blame", as the verse riff is finishing its cycle of two, the
notes go like this, I think:

G--------------------------------
D--5-----5---5-------5--7-----7-- etc.
A----5-5---5---5-5-7------7-7----
E--------------------------------
