Lost Boys Calling
Capo I (Every chord is really a half-step higher than written)

*=single notes (no chord)

               C*
Come hold me now
         F*
I am not gone
G* C*
I would not leave you here alone
              F Ab
In this dead calm beneath the waves
	    Am7 Am7/D G
I can still hear those lost boys calling

              C
You could not speak
	    F
You were afraid
   G Ab* Am7
To take the risk of being left again
           G Am7 G
And so you tipped your hat and waved and then
Dm G
You turned back up the gangway of that steel tomb again

CHORUS (2x, 2nd time with ?she holds? and ?we?)
       C F
And in Mott Street in July
       Dm7 G7
When I hear those seabirds cry
  F Em7 Am7 F
I hold the child, the child in the man
    G7 G/B C
The child that we leave behind

              C
The spotlight fades
            F
The boys disband,
    G C
the final notes lie mute upon the sand
           F Ab*
And in the silence of the grave
	      Am7 Am7/D G
I can still hear those lost boys calling

             C
We left them there
               F
When they were young
    G C
The men were gone until the west was won
		    F Ab*
And now there's nothing left but time to kill
          Am7 D/Am7
You never took us fishing, Dad
    G
And now you never will

CHORUS I

Notes:
1. Not sure about the Ab as a single note, but I can?t figure out a chord here. I tried
F/Ab, but it didn?t sound right.

2. Not sure about the G/B either.

3. I also had a bit of trouble with the "and so you tipped your hat and waved" line. I'm
sure that what I have is correct, but would welcome suggestions.
