Hi, this is my second tab. This is a great song by a lovely band, hope I've got it

Intro

Strum between (G) and (G5/E) - a 'down down up down' ryhthm, which continues into the
verse. I like to start on the bottom strings then throw in a few top strings as we get
into the intro..

VERSE 1

(Strumming between G and G5/E)
I've got my head down in my books
                     (D)
I've been reading all weekend,
                       (Back to G and G5/E)
But I don't learn anything

Because my mind is full of emptiness,
         (D) (Back to G and G5/E)
I've less energy than a stick of celery.

             (Am) (C) (G)
And then you call me up, down in Jericho,
(G7) (Am) (C) (G)
To see if I'll go for a drink or two

CHORUS 1

(G7) (Am) (C)
But I don't want you to see,
(G) (G7) (Am)
What the lonely nights are doing to me,
     (C) (G) (G7)
Bit my fingers to the bone,
     (Am) (C)
And I don't want to hear you say,
(G) (G7)
You let what happened anyway
(Am) (C)
  'Cos you don't know anything

BRIDGE / FREAK OUT BIT

It's a bit weird to work out. I think i strumming between (A) and (Am) for a few bars.
Then hold the (A) for a bar or two longer, then (C), then back to strumming between (G)
and (G5/E)

VERSE 2

                                          (D)
I was a stronger man than you when I loved Delilah,
                     (Back to G and G5/E)
With her pants on fire

But then she cut my hair and left me here,
          (D) (Back to G and G5/E)
With more inertia than a limpet on the shore
        (Am) (C) (G)
When the tide falls so low I feel like letting go,
(G7) (Am)(C) (G)
Though I should go to my family

CHORUS 2

(G7) (Am) (C)
But I don't want you to see,
(G) (G7) (Am)
What the lonely nights are doing to me,
     (C) (G) (G7)
Bit my fingers to the bone,
     (Am) (C)
And I don't want to hear you say,
(G) (G7)
You let what happened anyway
(Am) (C) (G) (G7)
  'Cos you don't know anything

    (Am) (C)
And I don't want to hear you say,
(G) (G7)
You let what happened anyway
(Am) (C) (G) (Let ring)
  'Cos you don't know anything
