Don't Let me Explode off of Separation Sunday

Can someone please, please tab First Night and any other songs off of Boys and Girls in
There are not nearly enough Hold Steady tabs on ultimate guitar.

The timing is 3/4 I think - just strum every chord for two bars of three strums. The
of the chords over the lyrics is somewhat wrong, but its close enough to play it - plus I
on the last verse because I'm lazy. Also keep in mind this is a pretty piano heavy
but it sounds pretty good on guitar too.

For it to sound perfect try:
-sliding up F to G to Bb (1 to 3 to 6) on the Low E when you make the transition from F
Bb.
-similarly sliding up F to F# to G (1-2-3) on the Low E for the F to Gm transition.

Verse 1:
Bb Gm Eb F
he said what about los angeles
Bb Gm Eb F
she said we never really made it that far west
Gm Eb Bb F
we scored big in denver and we thought it might be best
Gm Eb Bb F
to go hang around in the upper midwest

Verse 2: Same Chords
he said what about new orleans
she said i don't think you understand what that means
all those hangers on - the girls lifting up their shirts when the cameras come on
we were trying to stay away from those kind of scenes.

Bridge:
Bb Dm Eb F
    we didn't go to dallas.
Bb Dm Eb F
'cause jackie onassis said that it ain't safe for catholics yet.
Bb Dm
think about what they pulled on kennedy.
         Eb F
and then think about his security.
Bb Gm C F
then think about what they might try to pull on you and me.

Rock out:
F Eb D Gm
saint barbara i'm calling your name.
      C Dm
don't let me blow up. we'll hook it all up.
                Bb Bb
i guess there's fields of speed where there's fields of grain.
A Eb Dm Gm
saint barbara don't let me explode.
      C D Eb
i can feel the whole scene starting to corrode when we're fooling around on
    F
the frontage roads.

Verse 3:
Bb Gm Eb Dm
he asked what happened to charlemagne.
Bb Gm Eb Dm
she just smiled all polite-like and said something vague.
Dm Eb Bb F
she said charlemagne got caught up in some complicated things.
Gm Eb Bb F
she wiped at her nose and she winked.

Enjoy... Dm
