Breathe You In (Acoustic) – TFK

They tune to Drop C to play this but you don't have to. It sounds fine in standard but
wouldn't be they key they play it in. If you don't want to change your tuning then I
suggest transposing this this down 1.5 steps and putting a capo on the 3rd fret.
to the acoustic version on youtube, I'm pretty sure this is right. My first tab though so I
be wrong. See what you think!

Intro: C G F Am

Verse 1:
C
Taking hold, breaking in
G
The pressures on, need to circulate
F
Mesmerized and taken in
Am
Moving slow, so it resonates
C
It's time to rest, not to sleep away
G
My thoughts alone, try to complicate
F
I'll do my best, to seek you out
Am
And be myself, and not impersonate

Pre-Chorus:
Em F C
I tried so hard to not walk away
          G Dm
And when things don't go my way
                F
I'll still carry on and on just the same

Chorus:
C G
I've always been strong
                     Am
But can't make this happen
                    F
'Cause I need to breathe, I want to breathe you in
C G
The fear of becoming
                   Am
I'm so tired of running
                   F (G#m into Bridge)
'Cause I need to breathe, I want to breath you in

I want to breathe you in

Verse 2:
C
I'm going in, so cover me
G
Your compass will, help me turn the page
F
The laughing stock, I'll never be
Am
Because I won't let them take me

(Pre-Chorus and Chorus)

Bridge:
Dm F C G
Took awhile to see all the love that's around me
           Dm F C G
Through the highs and lows there's a truth that I've known
        Dm F
And it's you

(Chorus)

C G
I want to breathe you in
                      Am
I want to breathe you in
                       F
I want to breathe you in
               C
I want to, I want to
                       G
I want to breathe you in
                      Am
I want to breathe you in
                F
I want to breathe; I want to, I want to
C G
Wanna breathe
Am F
I wanna breathe
C G
I wanna breathe
Am Abm C
I wanna breathe
