on the recording, at the end of each repeat brandt hits the snare.
this is the "7", i.e. the seventh count in 7/8 time. on the fourth
repeat of part C, there is no change to 7/8 time; the song remains
in 8/8 time and brandt hits the snare on the "8" count. on the 
other hand, maybe it was supposed to be in 7/8 time but brandt was
just lagging...
