I take no credit for this, I just saw Marty Schwartz do an instructional video on YouTube
and I adapted it to a tab.
I include the intro riff, built around Bb pentatonic scale,
and the verse/chorus chords.
Remember funky disco songs use a great amount of mutes...

Intro
e----------------------------------------------------------|
b----------------------------------------------------------|
g----------------------------------------------------------|
D---xx-----6-------------------------------6---------------|
A---xx-6h8---6----------6------6-x----6-8------------------|
E---xx----------xx8-6h8----6h8----6-8----------------------|
Repeat riff...

After this go into Verse which is the above riff
followed by this pattern, which is not exact...but you can build around it.
Start by forming a Bb7 on the 6th fret 667686,
                                      e E
play only top three strings, then bottom three string...
To get the chugga chugga sound, mute d string,
then alternate pick up and down (cause those mutes are eighths I think),
and then fret the 6, rest,
then mute, then play 6, and end with the partial chord, etc.
e-----6--------6---|------6---------6--|------6---------6-----|
b-----6--------6---|------6---------6--|------6---------6-----|
g-----7--------7---|------7---------7--|------7---------7-----|
D--6---xxx6-x6-----|--6-6--xx6-6-x6----|--6-6--xx6-6xx6-------|
A--8---------------|--8-8--------------|--8-8-----------------|
E--6---------------|--6-6--------------|--6-6-----------------|
Go back to main riff and alternate with this Bb pattern

Then Chorus which is an Fm7 on the 8th fret 898108X
                                           e E
Just alternate pick (pick up and down, mostly up)
the bottom three (or two) strings, and throw some mutes on it,
figure it out yourself…

e--8--8--8--8-|-8--8-xx-8-8----8----------------------------|
b--9--9--9--9-|-9--9-xx-9-9--9-9----------------------------|
g--10---------|-10-----------10-----------------------------|
D-------------|---------------------------------------------|
A-------------|---------------------------------------------|
E-------------|---------------------------------------------|

Also some musical geniuses on songsterr.com figured out the brass section...
here’s the main trumpet riff transcribed for guitar:
e------------------------|-----------------|---------|----------------|---|
b------------------------|---9--9-11-13-16-|-18--18--|---9-9-11-13-16-|---|
g----------------20---22-|-----------------|---------|----------------|---|
D---18--18-20-22---------|-----------------|---------|----------------|---|
A------------------------|-----------------|---------|----------------|---|
E------------------------|-----------------|---------|----------------|---|
                         | Outro part.....................................

e-16---15-|---13--13-----------------|---------|--------------------------|
b-16---16-|---13--13----13--12-13-16-|-18--18--|----and then play---------|
