So, not only is this (I think) originally played in a different tuning (I'm using the
version by the way), it is also flat, which is a great annoyance, so the first thing to do
to play an A# (1st fret of the A string), and adjust the tuning until it matches that of
song. Then tune the rest of the guitar, of course, normally, apart from tune the B
to one semitone down (i.e same as the third fret of the G string), and the top e string
semitone up (to an F), if you're having difficulty muting it.

It's really easy to play once you've made these tuning adjustments, but if you don't it
sounds awful, and after all it only takes 2 minutes.

So, summary of tuning: EADGBbe(or F)

Starting from where the proper singing starts:

(Top e string at the top)

--x--x--x----------------------------------------------------------------|
--0--0--0----------------------------------------------------------------|
--2--2--2----------------------------------------------------------------|
--3--3--3----------------------------------------------------------------|
--1--x--x----------------------------------------------------------------|
-----3--1----------------------------------------------------------------|

(If you're having trouble muting the 1st string, then tune it up as described above; the
isn't actually heard on the track, but it's better than playing a clashing e)

Then:

--------x-------------------------------------------------------------------|
--(7)-(7)-0-----------------------------------------------------------------|
--7--8--2-------------------------------------------------------------------|
--8--8--3-------------------------------------------------------------------|
--5--6--x-------------------------------------------------------------------|
--------3-------------------------------------------------------------------|

I think the notes in the brackets can just about be heard the second time this is played.

Then end on this chord: (x1130x), which is the same as is playing throughout the intro
I think.
