Hey,

The other chord tabs for this were good but didn't quite get it - I'm pretty sure this
right, and you can play
along to it just fine.

Intro:

C - Am - G - F (this applies to the faint synth chords before the opening hook too)

Verse 1:

       Am G F C
It was Don Delilo whiskey, neat, and a blinking midnight clock
 C G F C
Speakers on a tv stand just a turntable to watch
        Am G F C
And the smoke came out our mouths on all those hooded-sweatshirt walks

          Am G F
We were a stroke of luck
          Am G F
We were a goldmine that gutted us

Chorus 1:

C G F C
And from the sidelines you see me run until I'm out of breath
                         G F C
Living the good life, I left for dead, the sorrowful midwest
       G F
Well I did my best to keep my head

C - Am - G - F x2

Verse 2:

        Am G F C
It was grass stained jeans and incompletes and a girl from class to touch
          C G F C
But you think about yourself too much and you ruin who you love
      Am G F C
Well, all these claims at consciousness, my stray dog freedom
              Am G F
Let?s have a nice clean cut
       Am G F
Like a bag we buy and divvy up

Chorus 2:

C G F C
And from the sidelines I see you run until you're out of breath.
                               G F C
And all those white lines that sped us up, we hurry to our death
        G F
Well, I lagged behind so you got ahead.

C - Am - G - F x5

Don't hesitate to drop a comment if you have any improvements or whatever. Do you guys
think that the C at the
end of the second line of the chorus (e.g. on 'midwest', 'death' etc.) should be an Am?

Cheers,
Louis C
