I saw another set of chords for this song on this site that looked completely wrong.
Although this is probably a much more simplified version, these are the chords
that I think sound right.
On a separate note, why is it so hard to find the lyrics to these songs online?
The CD came with a lyrics sheet!

Intro: alternate between Dsus4 and D (listen to the song for the pattern)

         D A
Shootin' Stars. Gilded Age
          G D
Yeah just spill your dreams to me
            Bm A
And we just hide away
        D A
You can stay if you believe
       G
Just a leap of faith
  D Bm A intro)
Across a busy Boulevard of Broken Dreams

             G D A
And I dream about her even though I never should...
          G D A
Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood
             G D A
Yeah I would ride into the sunset if I could
         G D A
Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood
           D
So slow to fade...

Check on the hill, across the street,

Taking turns unlocking doors, to fame by proximity

Golden dreams, flow like water,

And the water always wins for good or bad, once you let it in

[Chorus]

Don't cry on Oscar night
Lifted off from Mother Earth
To find her elusive smile
You can't buy authentic vibe
But you can checkout all the detours off the 405
            D A
But you can stay if you believe
             G D
But spinning gold is never easy
              A
When shooting stars are your dreams
          D A
Up in the sky a star's just a star
          G D
But funny thing, when looking up
            A (intro)
It seems to follow you wherever you are

(same as the chorus)
And I dream about her even though I never should,

Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood,
Yeah i would ride into the sun like Clint Eastwood,

Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood, Miss Hollywood,

           D A
So slow to fade…
           D A
So slow to fade…
           D A
So slow to fade…
           D A
So slow to fade…
           D
So slow to fade…
