• Song:

    A Letter From Janelle Acoustic

  • Artist:

    Chiodos

I'm not going to lie... I copy and pasted from other versions in writing
this one. However, this version is unique, this is my first tab, and I don't
see how you people type all this stuff!

Anyways, I play the chords a little differently than the way the other guy
wrote 'em. I like the way mine sound just a little bit better. I've had
several people tell me they like they way I play it more so than the album
version. I think those people are nuts, but either way, I figured I'd write
it down here and see what the UG community thinks. PLEASE comment. (I'm not
sure what the "Dm Var" is actually. Please let me know if you figure it out. lol)

    Verse 1 / Chorus Part 2 of Verse 2

   Bb C Dm Dm/F DmV | Dm Dm/F DmV sC sC7
e| 0 1 1 1 | 1 1 1 0 0
G| 3 1 3 3 3 | 3 3 3 1 1
B| 3 0 2 2 0 | 2 2 0 0 0
D| 3 2 0 3 3 | 0 3 3 X
A| 1 3 | 0<(hit only on
E| | first strum)
-----Dm/F: I'm guessing at this, its probably wrong.
----- DmV: The "V" stands for variation. I have no idea what that is either.
----- sC: Stands for "small C", cuz it only uses 3 strings
----- sC7: Stands for "small C 7", because of the open A string
----- ... yes, I know this tab is probably ridiculous.

I actually do the picking pattern when I play this part. It seems more
fitting to me, so I'm posting it. I'll leave the chords, tho.
