   G (320003@1)                     DHe (xx0232@1)wore a black bandanna a rolled brim Stetson hat 
       C (x32010@1)                  EmWith (022000@1)a two inch scarlet hat band

   G (320003@1)                            EmHe (022000@1)held his wrinkled hand up as a sign to shut her down

     G (320003@1)                            DThat (xx0232@1)stranger told him stories like I am hearing now

    GHis (320003@1)car had been consumed by fire 
                      Embut (022000@1)the cowboy had no marks
           C (x32010@1)                D (xx0232@1)            EmExcept (022000@1)the smokin' pitch fork brand upon his neck
