• Song:

    Class Cutter Yeah Yeah

  • Artist:

    Dale Hawkins

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Great song by underrated Rockabilly pioneer Dale Hawkins,
known for being the father of Swamp Rock (Suzie Q), and for
playing real raw Rockabilly. This however is a sweeter Pop
song, it's great, it's played very much like Ritchie Valens'
"Come on, Let's Go", and the background singers borrow from
Buddy Holly's "I'm Gonna Love You Too".

This is only the third song I'm learning by ear, so I can't say
that this is the way it goes 100%, but it feels good when I play
it, and I have re-written it a couple of times. The thing I'm
most unsure of is the lyrics after you sing about his girlfriend
with the shape of a balloon, it's hard to hear what he sings there.

Please come with suggestions/critique or whatever, and rate it if
you want to!

Enjoy! :)
