D5: XX023X and D2: XX0230, or you can play a regular D major 
and it sounds fine.  The D5 and D2 reflect the accented notes that
(I think) a second guitar plays.  I've tried to explain this at 
the bottom.  If you don't want to go to all that hassle, just strum
a D chord and occasionally lift your finger off the e-string.
