• Song:

    Place To Go

  • Artist:

    Ethan Lipton And His Orchestra

This has the intro thingy and the solo thing.
I can't help ya after the solo, because it changes key or something, but this should
ya busy for a few minutes anyway.

The little 'x' things, it means you mute all the strings, and hit it.
In simpler terms, make it go 'Fwip'
What I do is I do a downward 'Fwip' then when I go back up, I hit the now unmuted
 Do whatever works for ya.

Intro:
Okay this phrase thingy repeats about a kajillion times while Vito's rocking out on the sax:
e-----------x---6--------x---4--------x---6--------x---4-------x---6---------|
B-----------x---6--------x---4--------x---6--------x---4-------x---6---------|
G-----------x---6--------x---4--------x---6--------x---4-------x---6---------|
D-----------x---5--------x---3--------x---5--------x---3--5----x---5---------|
A-----5--6--x---6--5--4--x---4--5--6--x---6--5--4--x---4----6--x---6---------|
E-----------x------------x------------x------------x-----------x-------------|

Then When Ethan Lipton comes in, you're essentially repeating the intro guitar thing,
every couple of measures, there's this:
'I 've got a place to go in the morning..
I've got a place to go when I rise...
then this:
e------x---6--6---8--8--8--(8)
B------x---6--6---8--8--8--(8)
G------x---6--6---8--8--8--(8)
D-5----x---5--5---7--7--7--(8)
A---6--x---6--6---8--8--8--(8)
E------x-------------------(8)

The '8's in parenthesis are what you play before the solo.

Okay, now for the solo:
The \ means 'slide down'
The / means 'slide up'
And the T means Tremolo (Or Vibrato.. Whatever)

e---11--8---------9-------------------8--11\------------------.) R T (No slide the second
B----------9---------11----------------------- E W time-.)
G-------------10---------8-----9--11--------------------------.) P I
D---------------------------8---------------------------------.) E C
A-------------------------------------------------------------.) A E
E-------------------------------------------------------------.) T !

e--/16--16--15--16--15--13---------------------------|
B---------------------------/16--16--14--16--14--13--|
G----------------------------------------------------|
D----------------------------------------------------|
A----------------------------------------------------|
E----------------------------------------------------|

e-------------------------------------------------|
B-------------------------------------------------|
G--8--11--8--11--8--11--8--10(T)------------------|
D-------------------------------------------------|
A-------------------------------------------------|
E-------------------------------------------------|

I'm not sure if the tremolo is actually in there, but it makes it sound pretty cool.
