Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps, it peaked at #8 on the 
R&B charts and #7 on the Pop charts (although it was
well worthy of a #1 spot!) It was rumored that it was
Elvis singing for another label (even his own bass
player thought this.) But it really is its own thing.
