This is my first submission so let me know what you think. Kudos to the other two versions of this for starting me off. Here's my version which has some other chords that I worked out by ear which I think sound good singing solo with. I've also done my best to line the chords up with the syllable on which I play it. Basically there's three rhythmic patterns to the chords if you look at it in 4/4. I break them down at the bottom if you're having trouble getting it, or you can always just play along with the song. Standard Tuning Capo on 2nd fret Chorus: Em D Em G D Em And it's go boys go, they'll time your every breath, Em D G D G D Em And every day you're in this place you're two days nearer death. Em D Em Em D Em But you go. Song: Chorus Em D Em G D Em Well a process man am I and I am telling you no lie Em D G D G D B I work and breathe among the fumes that trail across the sky Em D G D There's thunder all around me and there's poison in the air Em D G D G D Em There's a lousy smell that smacks of hell and dust all in me hair Chorus Em D Em G D Em Well I work among the spinners and I breathe the oily smoke Em D G D G D B I've shoveled up the gypsum and it nigh on makes you choke Em D G D I've stood knee deep in cyanide, got sick with a caustic burn Em D G D G D Em Been working rough, I've seen enough to make your stomach turn Chorus Em D Em G D Em There's overtime and bonus opportunities galore Em D G D G D B The young men like their money and they all come back for more Em D G D But soon you're knockin' on and you look older than you should Em D G D G D Em For every bob made on the job you pay with flesh and blood Chorus Em D Em G D Em A process man am I and I am telling you no lie Em D G D G D B I work and breathe among the fumes that trail across the sky Em D G D There's thunder all around me and there's poison in the air Em D G D G D Em There's a lousy smell that smacks of hell and dust all in me hair Chorus X2 Rhythmic breakdown First and last lines of chorus and first line of each verse: [Em D Em] or [G D Em] are two quarter notes then a half note Third line of the chorus, second and fourth lines of each verse: [Em D G D G D Em] is 6 quarter notes then A half note [Em D G D G D B] is the same Third line of each verse: [Em D G D] is 4 half notes
