Local H - Back in the Day, from the album As Good as Dead.  

Tuned a half step down

In the original song the bass plays the following riff once, the drums start and the guitar 

plays the same riff 3 times.  I don't play bass or know a bassist so I like to simulate the 

lower bass sound by palm muting it the first time I play the riff.

Then he switches the riff to powerchords and plays this twice:

After that he starts playing some variations on the preceding riff with some powerchords  
added in and then does some weird stuff around the middle but I'm too lazy to tab that out.
