I think the same effect is used for the "then" Bit, or perhaps it's more phased? The outro is just the fist part of each verse but only played once. For effects I know that both lost prophets guitarists use a digitech rp7 I think, it's the blue 4 or 5 pedal digitech multi effect thing. So if any of you have one of those then you should be able to get exact sounds from that.
